The Boise river is running really high this year. They have been releasing water to make room for what is coming from the higher mountains. The river has actually been running above flood stage, which you can see in this photo. Normally the trees in the upper right of the photo are not out in the water.

Here are some more blossoms. In this case, I really liked the contrast of the white blossoms agains the blue background of the sky.

The moon was really prominent this afternoon when we were out for a walk. I don't think this shot really does the moon justice. There are several things I am fascinated with in photos and the moon is one of them. If you search the internet for moon photos there are thousands of shots that are really magnificent. I have captured a few shots over the years that I think are pretty good. I suppose I will continue to take pictures of moon and hopefully someday I will get one of those awesome ones.

More flowers blossoming. I didn't really pay attention to the background when I shot this photo. Now that I'm looking at it, I wish I had moved either left or right before I snapped the shutter so that the tree in the background was positioned differently. I guess that's why we take lots of photos.
