Project 365

I am taking on a new challenge for 2012. I have read and heard about photo projects where you take a picture every single day for a year. I am undertaking to do that for 2012. I will try to post photos several times throughout the week but may only publish once a week depending on my schedule.

I received a new Panasonic point and shoot camera, for Christmas, that I can take everywhere with me so I plan to always have it with me when I find the picture for the day.

Day 16

I have taken reflection images in the past using chrome speakers, and other reflective surfaces. I really like the image that you get from this. Today's image was taken on the back of a side view mirror on a Mini Cooper car.

The cool thing about images like this is that it looks like an image taken with a fish-eye lens but it's not. One thing that someone pointed out to me is that if take an image like this, you are always in the center of the picture. I hadn't really paid attention to that but looking back through my reflection pictures bears this out.
